Sharing at Charlton Place

This afternoon The King's Praise Ballet shared at Charlton Place, a local nursing home. The girls danced beautifully, and it was great practice in dancing for others, while at the same time blessing the residents that came to watch!

Below are some pictures my Dad kindly took.

Teaching six five-year-olds to work together is a challenge, but they're learning! :)

"We will give our lives - a sacrifice of praise!"

"Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty..."

"It's not for us; it's all for Him."

Swirls of color... painting a moving picture.

"Though there's pain in the offering, blessed be Your Name."

  1. The new costumes are so cute Anna! Did you make them?

  2. Thanks, Catherine! No, I didn't make them, though I did slightly alter/add slips to most of them. The royal blue costumes are the ones I did the most to; I ordered leotards, added the drapes, and made the skirts and sashes.

I was able to order the others from a great costume company, Revolution Dancewear. They have great prices and a nice selection of costumes!

  4. Neat, well I'm sure it was plenty of work just to alter them! But, they all look great. I love how colorful they are. I'm glad things are are going so well for you with the dance classes!
